Throughout this unit you have been introduced to some complex ideas, words and phrases.  It is important understand what is meant by human rights and how these rights are embodied in Scotland's legislation, policies and, most importantly,  your practice.  Person - centred rights based practice is at the heart of the SSSC Codes and your values, how you interact and support another person should always reflect these guidelines.  There have been opportunities in this unit to stop and reflect on your practice: to think about how you uphold the rights of another and how you implement policies in your practice.
