Introduction - The role of this topic
This chapter provides useful information about the services and facilities that persons with various dementias can access, the legislative framework that caregivers can present and explain to families and relatives. Because in Romania the system of institutions and documents is still quite bureaucratic, it is often useful for the care staff to know these aspects in order to be able to advise their relatives in the steps they take in support of patients with dementia.
